This page is for meals that are so easy to make, they don't really require a recipe. Because eating real food doesn't need to be difficult.

Precook chicken breast, slice thinly, smear with pesto and wrap in bacon. Grill.

Coat small chicken pieces in spices of your choice, we used a premixed Cajun spice mix. Bake in the oven with olive oil, until cooked.

When you have the oven on for other things, pop in a few whole potatoes and cook them until they are cooked and the skin is crispy. Allow to cool, spoon out the potato and refill with whatever, beans, mince, fish you have on hand. Mash the potatoes and spoon on the top.

Egg, smoked salmon and chopped spinach whisked together, then cooked in a metal round, in a fry pan.

Bake the salmon in the oven with honey, pepper, oregano, olive oil and smoked paprika. Pan fry vegetables of your choice with passata sauce, oregano, garlic, smoked paprika and salt and pepper. Serve with rice or similar.

Layer vegetables in a dish, pour garlic butter over them, top with grated Parmesan cheese and bacon, if desired. Bake in the oven, until cooked.

In the slow cooker bang broth, chicken drumsticks, onions, garlic and tikka masala curry paste/powder. Cook for 8 to 12 hours. Add coconut cream and vegetables, serve with rice or roti.

Bake precooked or tinned and drained lentils on an oven tray with curry powder and olive oil. Cook until they are crunchy, like chips and eat as a dried snack.

Easier than getting Takeaways! A packet of hot smoked salmon, a bag of salad, add some chopped fruit, salad dressing, aioli and sauerkraut. Instant food!

Simply cover diced chicken with sesame seeds, flour, herbs and spices of your choice. pan fry. Serve with blanched Broccoli.

Simply pan fry diced sausages and mix with roast vegetables. I used a honey ginger glaze on the vegetables for flavour.

Bake chicken breast in passata sauce, garlic, onions, tomatoes, capsicum, oregano, tarragon and chili. Slice and serve with vegetables.

Simply pan fry Halloumi cheese in olive oil and herbs. Add seasonal greens and serve.

Simply grate vegetables of your choice (I used potato, kumara, pumpkin, silverbeet, courgette, garlic and eggplant), grated cheese and egg. Mix well. Pan fry until cooked.

Whisk eggs, milk, cheese if you want and whatever vegetables you have on hand (We used spinach, garlic and cherry tomatoes). Add your choice of bacon, smoked salmon, herbs, dry mustard or nutritional yeast for flavour. Top with cheese. Grill until cooked.
