Orange & Cinnamon Muesli Bar


Orange and Cinnamon Muesli Bar In a pot melt 75g butter(or use coconut oil to make it dairy free), 2 tbsp honey, 1 tsp cinnamon, grated peel and squeezed juice of 1 orange, 2 tbsp peanut butter. Bring to a fast boil. In a large bowl put 1/2 cup chopped figs and 2 cups of muesli (any combination of oats, buckwheat groats, nuts, seeds and coconut roasted and partially whizzed). Pour the butter mixture in the bowl. Stir well. Press mixture into silicone slice tray. Set in fridge. Time in the kitchen: 15 minutes. Great for a fast breakfast or lunchbox treat 😊 Because this has very little honey in to stick it together it is a wee bit crumbly. So keep it in the fridge or freezer to help it stick.
