Chocolates with pear filling.
I took these for dessert to my mum's last night. They were very popular and my ma was thrilled with the no dishes dessert!
Here's how you make them:
3 pears peeled and whizzed in the food processor til smoothish. Add half a cup or whipped cream. Add 2 tbsp of chia seeds.
Mix.
Allow to set on the bench for 10 minutes.
Use a teaspoon and spoon into a tray. Freeze for 30 - 60 minutes.
When solid enough to handle, dip in chocolate* and refreeze.
Time in the kitchen: 5 minutes prep time.
*use a good quality chocolate. You can add 50 grams of butter, when melting the chocolate, to make it easier to coat the pears and to lower the sugar content. I use a dark 80% chocolate.
