Kids love dairy food? Here's what you need to know

Do your kiddies love these dairy foods? Each one of these chocolate dairy foods contains 14.9 grams of sugar.

Each one of the strawberry dairy foods (pictured) contains 15.9 grams of sugar..... ....there are 4 grams of sugar to one teaspoon.... .... so that means there are nearly 4 tsps of sugar in each pottle!!! And neither of these products has the benefits of probiotics that are found in yoghurt or actual fruit! The World Health Organisation recommends no more than 3 tsps of added sugar for kiddies, each day.

So one serve of this dairy food exceeds that recommendation. AND individual packets, such as these, are not that great for the environment or your wallet! It's cheaper and more sustainable to choose products in larger packets, or even better, to make it yourself, to reduce the amount of waste and reduce the cost to you. Solution? Make your own! And if you want it for the lunchboxes, serve it in reuseable containers.
